Welcome to my story. It started simply enough. A little story in my head as I began to become interested in the character of Methos from "Highlander: The Series" (a Panzer/Davis Production), as played by Peter Wingfield. It soon grew into epic proportions.
Summary: "What's an Honorable Man?" is a 4-part epic that follows our favorite immortal, Methos, over the course of more than 500 years as he meets the same soul inhabiting different people as they live different lives in different times.
Disclaimer: None of the characters borrowed from the Highlander universe or the parameters of that universe (immortals, Quickenings, Watchers, etc.) belongs to me. I am using them but getting no compensation (to the dismay of my partner). I intend no copyright infringement and wrote it only to get the ballooning story out of my head. The other characters and the bones of this story do, however, belong to me, so if anyone likes or needs to use them, I expect the same courtesy from them that I'm giving to Panzer/Davis. Drop me a line and let me know so I can see how they're doing.

There is also some violence (we are talking about immortals here, so there are sword fights and Quickenings) and a very brutal rape scene. "What's an Honorable Man" is finally finished. For those who were with it from the beginning, as of October 2002, we now have a finished story and, hopefully, closure. For those new to this site and epic, come on in, stay a while and enjoy the story that's been haunting me since the summer of 1999. I hope you enjoy it as many have. Please don't hesitate to give me feedback!

This site belongs to me, Yvette Christofilis. It was built to house this story when it got too big for my head and became too much of an epic to remain docile on my computer. It seems only the World Wide Web can contain it.
I want to thank my partner for her infinite patience with me and my mild Methos obsession, Sibyl for reading and re-reading this huge tome, Al Raymond for the professional-quality beta read (you won't believe the stuff he caught!), and the HL production team of Panzer/Davis for creating these characters, for fighting to get them to us, and for not suing me.
