Media Update:

Susan is currently working on a new CD to debut later this year,

Susan performed in Europe (again) from 7/9-7/15/06 following the current European release of her CD "Hope& Desire" 
in Europe.

Susan's husband Derek Trucks appeared recently on Conan O'Brien as Musical Guest.
Derek will play on world tour this summer with Eric Clapton's band beginning in Europe in May, 2006.

 Susan made another appearance on the Conan O'Brien Show in December as Musical Guest.
She performed "Evidence" from her new CD "Hope & Desire"

Susan's new CD "Hope & Desire" was released 10/12/05 on the Verve label.

Peter Gammons of ESPN.com has released his "all time top 20 albums".
 Susan & Derek are both listed. (Congratulations Peter, on being elected to the Baseball Hall Of Fame 7/2005)

Susan & Charlie recently spent some well-deserved time in Hawaii with Derek who was touring the islands

Susan received a grammy nomination for "Best Female Vocal Rock Performance"
for "Alone" (the only track released early enough to be nominated!).
The other nominees in the category were: Sheryl Crow (winner), Melissa Etheridge, Avril Lavigne & Bonnie Raitt
The grammy awards took place at Madison Square Garden, NYC, on 2/23/2003

Susan's birthday was listed in the national newspaper column "Today In History" on 11/9/99
under "today's birthdays" along with Hedy Lamarr, Whitey Herzog & Lou Ferrigno, among others.

Susan sang the National Anthem at the Fleet Center on Wed. 11/3/99 to open the home season
for the Boston Celtics ... it was also "Red Auerbach" night honoring his 50 years with the team.

Susan appeared on VH-1's Concert of the Century: broadcast live Sat. 10-22-99 from Washington, D.C.
The show will be
rebroadcast Thursday night 10/28/99 at 9 p.m. (ET) and again on Tuesday 11/2/99 at 8 p.m. (ET)
It is also scheduled to be rebroadcast commercial-free on Thursday 11/4/99 at 4am ( all on VH-1).

Susan performed LIVE on CMT (Country Music TV), Sunday 9/12/99 ... Farm Aid repeated as a 3 hour edited show

USA Today newspaper on 9-13-99 ran a photo of Susan on page 4D performing at "Farm Aid"
... alongside a photo of Willie Nelson ... who was wearing a "Susan Tedeschi Tee shirt" !

Susan joined Neil Young yesterday (9-13-99) for the Farm Aid rally in Washington, D.C. and they spent most of the day
meeting and speaking with farmers and Senators about the farm bill issues.

Susan's photo is on the cover of "Back to the Roots" magazine along with a huge spread inside
