Can you say stagnate? There have been some additions to the
site over the last year, but not as much as we would like. For
instance, t's hard to believe I haven't written an "editorial" in a
year, but, hey, you don't always need one, you know what I mean? Our
exposure has been great though, and we have great work coming in from
all over the world. If you've been coming back here and exporing all
this time, thank you... I assure you that there will be a lot of new
cool stuff happening here in the next 3 months... starting with work
added today.

Wow, we've changed a lot of stuff. It took a lot longer than we
thought it would, but we finally finished putting in frames... There
aren't a lot of frames, just enough to assist navigation. If you have
a browser that doesn't support frames, don't worry... The site will
automatically deliver non-frames content.
The links section has also been completely revamped. I think
it's increasingly important to give descriptions of the links you're
going to, as the web gets bigger and bigger. There are a lot of
places on the web to visit. I think it's very important you know
where you're going before you even click to get there.
Also new is the "What?" section. This section has a sitemap for
Dementia, a section that lists What's New on the site, and also lists
the plug-ins and software that is needed to view the site in it's
full gory detail.
Dementia is meant to be intuitive, and let you follow your
feeling to the next space... But if you need a little help deciding,
and a little help getting around, I hope these new changes helps. If
you have any other suggestions,
just let us know.

Greetings from Dementia has been published for 5 months now,
and we've gotten a lot of great feedback. If you have any ideas for
how Dementia could be better, or if you have ideas for stories or
artwork you'd like to install here, just write us at
dementia@pipeline.com.
We have recently entered into an association with
Amazon Books . This allows you to buy books
that we review online, from Amazon.com. I want to be up front and say
that we do make a small amount on every book sold through our site.
We think this is an alternative to advertising, and a good one. The
content of our pages is directly linked to related information on
their site. This allows you to hear of great books, and lets us pay
for our Internet access. I often worry that writers and artists will
lose their ability to make a living with the further expansion of the
web. It is ideas like this one from Amazon that gives me hope. So if
you like Dementia and would like to buy one of the books we list or
review, follow the link and buy something.
Just so you know, this will not affect our reviewing process.
In fact, you may find links to an Amazon book underneath a horrible
review... And, if you still want to buy the book despite our best
advice, well, you're welcome to.

Welcome to Greetings from Dementia. If you visited the site
before as Hi, egg! you will notice that Hi, egg is still here as the
place to try out things and improve your own artwork and writing. The
rest of the site has been expanded... and more will be hung on the
framework as time goes by. I regret that the Amy and the ShoeCar
Adventure is still not ready... but rest assured it will be in the
next several months.
We are always looking for strange and inventive work to show.
If you have some writing or artwork, or better yet, ideas for
interactivework that you think would work well on Greetings from
Dementia, email and tell us about it. (Please don't send full work
right away. We hate 30 minute mail downloads! ) *Please* query first.
You can reach us at dementia@pipeline.com.
