NUCLEAR REACTOR OPERATOR TRAINING

CLASSROOM VISUALS

last update March 16,1997

The listed ClassRoom Visuals are made available to aid those who do not have access to quality training resources and for those who find the reference resource files lacking such material when needed. The items are divided into two categories, namely Definitions and Graphics. Each visual is sized to fit on a single page.

"Definitions" includes a standard format for presenting the several definitions that must be covered by the Instructor in introducing the subject of reactor behavior. Note that everything that should be said about a particular definition is not included on the visual. The visual is intended to provide a talking point and an outline of the Instructor's presentation. The idea is to keep the visuals simple and always with the same layout, for the benefit of enhancing student understanding and retention. It is suggested that the definition be printed from your browser and then made into a transparency for ClassRoom use.

"Graphics" are those presented in the NUKEFACT essays. Here, they are isolated from the text and provided with a title, each on a separate page. The graphics are not full page in because, to date, we have found no effective way to expand them from normal Hi-Jack (TM) size. It is suggested that the graphic be printed from your browser. Enlarge the print on a copy machine, to full page size, and then make a transparency for ClassRoom use.
