The Setting
Never ruin
a crystal gazing session by having too many spectators attend. At a crystal
gazing session there should be the querent, the crystal gazer/reader and
perhaps one other person. Please remember, searching for answers through
crystal gazing is an individual, meditative process.
You will find
it easier to concentrate if distracting reflections are not present. So
cover the table with a dark opaque cloth (black is preferred and black
velvet is elegant).
The querent
should sit a good distance from the crystal gazer. As a crystal gazer,
you need space, so ask your querent to give you adequate space.
Questions should
be asked prior to the sitting.
*The gazing session
will not produce significant results if the fortuneteller's attention is
distracted from the crystal. Silence is to be requested and expected.
As the fortuneteller,
you should gaze steadily into the crystal thoughout the setting. Your mind
should be free to wander at will while ignoring your all else (please,
take the phone off the hook, disable your beeper---no distractions). The
object is for you and the querent to break away from the present, from
all present concerns except for the search, the purpose of the session.
Allow the power
of the crystal radiate through your eyes, your hands, your fingertips.
Remember, the immersion into this is part of the aura. Crystal gazing is
an intense activity and should last just a quarter of an hour.
In order to develop
your inner talent for crystal gazing, create a continuum of though and
practice by practising this method every day at a specified location at
the same hour. The location where you practice this craft and the location
you choose remain constant.
Remember, crystal
gazing *is not* an "every now & then type of thing*
Regular practice
is necessary to beckon forth your inner talent. Do your feel you have this
inner talent? The talent is something you are born with and it is a prerequisite.
Practice with nurture your talent and call it forth. If you are consistent
in your practice, the moment will come when under your gaze the crystal
ball no longer will be transparent...a lovely silken gauze will swirl into
opalescense until a milkiness fogs over and clouds the inner depth of the
crystal turning into a brief darkness that will eventually deliquesce and
render a point of resemblance, some type of parallelism which must be interpreted
by the fortuneteller (crystal gazer) for the querent. The crystal gazer
becomes the seer of the real: the mystic who will be able to seek the truth
from the symbolic imagery and translate that truth into something the querent
will be able to understand.
The crystal ball
is the oracle/medium which can focus the fortuneteller's attention so that
the future, Fortune's enigmatic veil, may be lifted and gently parted aside
so that the fortuneteller may grasp a glimpse into the unknown...
Please write a line for
reminiscence and remember to return again...
