•  90's Nighthawk 750- Givi bags are the most popular choice today. They're expensive, but very well made. They're the "rage" in Europe. I've heard that they mount extremely well on the Nighthawk 750. They also make a mount which allows you to install a hard bag as a trunk, or a mount which allows you to have saddlebags and a trunk. The options are endless with Givi, limited only by your money supply. The only downside in my opinion is that the large bags stick out like "dumbo ears". No thanks. I'll keep my soft bags for now.
• 90's Nighthawk 250- Givi makes a trunk with mount for the 250. I'm unaware of anyone else that supports this bike. Let me know if anyone finds something.
• 80's Nighthawks- I don't know if anyone has tried Givi bags on these, or if Givi makes a mount for these models. If you've put some on your bike, let me know. I did see a picture on the Net of an 85 NH650 with some 80's version hard bags, but the owner was unaware of the source, since he was not the original purchaser. Honda made hard bags for the 700S, but those are hard to find. Honda also sold an optional hard case for the luggage rack on the 550. Good luck finding one anywhere!
• Other Hard Luggage choices- I didn't mean to imply that Givi is the only outfit left in the world producing hard luggage for motorcycles. They're not. There's a few other manufacturer's in Europe. However, the Givi's are readily available, and nobody else makes an easier mount for a Nighthawk--period. There's a company in Taiwan called Taiyang that makes various hard luggage and trunks, but I don't anyone whose ordered or tried any of their products on a Nighthawk.

Your choices are many with soft bags. Since the mounting systems are usually the same regardless of the bike, the year is unimportant, with one exception that I am aware of (RKA).

 

RKA Luggage	See RKA Web Page	I'm partial to these, since I own a pair, and have tested them on my trip. I discuss them in my trip "equipment review" section. They are very well made, easy to put on and remove, and instead of locking them, like hard bags, you just take them with you into your tent or motel room. The mounting straps stay on the bike. The 47 liter bags offer lots of storage space, yet don't stick out as far as the Givi hard bags. RKA makes different size bags, and you can get custom striping to match your bike if you want to pay a little extra. The mounting system is custom designed to fit each model of bike. Because of this, they are strictly mail order. Make sure you tell them if you have the luggage rack/backrest. That requires a longer strap set. Also available is a matching rear-seat bag.
Hondaline	See your Honda Dealer!!	Honda will also sell you a set of soft saddlebags for the Nighthawk. Anyone have any experience with these?
Wolfman	Many Honda & Independant Dealers Sell these!	I've seen the Wolfman saddlebags. In my opinion, they aren't as well made as the RKA bags, a bit smaller, and the mounting system is not as good. But, they are cheaper.

Eclipse	Photo deleted	Eclipse makes two models; the Interstate (32 liter per bag capacity), and the P-38 Saddlepack, which is smaller and meant for Sport-bikes (15 liter per bag).

Leather bags		Many companies make leather saddlebags, but I'm not going to use up my precious server space listing them. Anyway, I'm sure none of you Nighthawk owners want to turn your bikes into Harley wannabe's!
