Rear Seat Bags for the Honda Nighthawk

REAR SEAT BAGS

 Rear Seat Bags

I get more use out of my rear seat bag than any other accessory. I am using a Wolfman, which mounts with 4 elastic straps. That bag never leaves my bike. It has a main storage compartment, which I use to hold my chaps and rain gear, a pocket in the top flap, which has sufficient space to hold my "Legend" bike cover, and three outside pockets, which I use to hold a neck warmer, small towel, shades, extra gloves, bungee cords, and a few other small odds and ends. I can't tell you what it costs, since I didn't purchase it originally, but I'd be surprised if it was over a $100.00. Here are the rear seat bags on the market that I am aware of:

Pic's at Web Site

They have a good selection of rear seat bags, which conveniently snap onto the straps which hold the saddlebags. I will be purchasing one myself, as soon as I can spare the $175.00 Or maybe they can just give me one, since I'm giving them such a nice plug! HINT HINT!!

Other stuff

Use your imagination. There's really no need to spend 50 to 100 bucks for a rear seat bag when almost anything will go there. Just toss a gym bag on the rear seat held with a couple of bungee's. Or a small soft suitcase. Better yet, use that time tested accessory from the 60's, the old milk crate on the luggage rack!
