Many a new rider received their first experience in an MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) Class. Chances are they did it on a Nighthawk 250. This little bird is easy to handle, light weight, yet it is physically sized so you don't feel like you're on a toy. Although it suffers on the highway, it is great for zipping around the city and short commutes. Honda also sells an optional windshield, a backrest, and a center stand.

• Nighthawk 250 vs. Kawasaki 250- A 1991 article comparing the Honda and the Kawasaki. Although the Kawasaki was probably a more desirable bike, Honda once again proves its marketing saavy. The "street" 250 will only sell to a limited market--entry riders, people needing a "round the town" machine, and Motorcycle Training classes. As a result, it had better be basic and inexpensive. Just to prove a point--how many of the Kawasaki's have you seen running around?
• Nice & Easy- This article was published in an Australian magazine. It is actually a review of the Australian market Honda CB250, which is essentially a Nighthawk, except that it has a small front disc brake, rather than the American version's drum brake, and it has spoked rather than cast wheels, and 2 carbuertors.
