Wow...

What a month it's been! I didn't get a Short Break out to you last week 'cause I was just plain BUSY!

I went camping the two previous week ends... the last campout being 4 days! It was fantastic.. a very primitive outing to celebrate the Fall Equinox with about 277 other worshipers of nature. It reminded me of an Ewok villiage, or several, linked by paths thru woods. We experienced the eclipse of the full moon from a ridge high above the Ewok Villiage, too. The weather here in the Pacific Northwest was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better place or time.

For those of you who were by my side during last Spring's Trauma Concerning Son, Joe... He is getting out of the Navy this month and coming home! He is cleared of cancer and is doing really well. Thanks again for all your support. You guys are terrific!

One more update.. My mom, Rosemary (of the famed Camp Rosemary) continues to gain strength. It's been a long summer for her, and the hardest part for her has been having to slow down! Thanks for all the beautiful cards and letters...she has saved them all!
