Using the TI-86

• To find f(c):  EVALUATE a function f at x=c:
1. Select GRAPH, then F1 to get to  y(x)=
2. Enter the function.
3. Select GRAPH again.  Then select MORE twice.
4. Select F1: EVALuate.  The display show Eval x=
5. Enter c, the value of x, and ENTER.  The y = f(c) value is displayed.
6. Repeat step 5  for other values, as needed.
