If you've ever purchased a magic prop, you know that what you usually get is a poorly made prop and a set of bare bones instructions. These instructions, at best, provide only the most basic information required to use the prop. This deters many in their efforts to develop entertaining presentations. The item is thus likely to end up in a drawer awaiting the day when you can work out a routine.
We realize that not every performer has the knack for creating interesting patter just as not everyone can write a play. Still, poor presentation diminishes the strength of your magic and does a disservice to you, your audiences and the art of magic.
Every effect we sell at MAGICAL TOOLS includes a routine and patter that are thoroughly audience tested and of professional caliber. The routines are always interesting and take advantage of the nature of the effect. You may, of course, choose to develop your own presentation and most performers, given sufficient performing opportunities, will do so. We encourage you to express your own personality through your magic. But, until you've developed your own presentation, use ours and endeavor always to entertain, amuse and mystify.
There's a second part to the tradition MAGICAL TOOLS hopes to forge. The quality of materials used in a MAGICAL TOOLS effects will always be top notch. You pay good money for the props you buy and we assume you intend to use them. You have the right to expect a prop to last through a reasonable number of performances without falling apart. Unfortunately, we've had the experience of buying props that fall apart after a week. This should never happen. Assuredly you must exercise reasonable care with any prop but the prop should be made with an eye toward both quality and utility. That is a MAGICAL TOOLS commitment and we'll stand behind it. If any MAGICAL TOOLS prop fails due to defective workmanship we'll repair or replace it. If it fails due to misuse we'll charge a reasonable repair or replacement fee but we'll stand behind our products.
What you are currently reading is a catalogue about which we are very excited. It is our first formal electronic catalogue and it includes all effects we already have available. It also includes many more which will be released as they are ready or which will change status as they come back into stock.
