Dear Good Doctor,

We are not amused. Let me explain the New World Order to you. I can do anything I want because I am the boss. Some people, people who are beneath me, of course, think I am an arrogant asshole, but their opinions are totally irrelevant. Now that we have won the "cold war," our free world corporations are going to take over the entire earth. And such things as human dignity, treating other peoples and their resources with respect, and plain simple humanity, contribute only obliquely, if at all, to the "bottom line," as it were. The Era of the Nations is over. We are entering into the new Era of the Corporations. And I am the new model of the corporate manager. I have a very small brain, not suitable for any original thinking, mind you, but large enough to accommodate whatever opinions the Corporate Entity thinks I should have. I have a very large mouth, appropriate for singing the Corporate Anthem at all times, and for sucking any appendage necessary to the achievement of my mediocre goals. I have a strong back so that I can carry out all duties as assigned by the C.E.O. and, or, God. I have no morals or ethics whatsoever, since those are an antiquated concepts. Quite simply put, anything that is good for the Corporation, is good for America, and therefore, the World. Lastly, I have a huge anus, so that whenever necessary, I can dump voluminously upon any potential rebel threat beneath me, and, of course, to make those above me feel better at the drop of a hat. Or pants, as it were. And I do not inhabit simply the Corporate World. I am spreading throughout all universities, hospitals, federal, and state governments. I am the next step in your evolution. You can call me, "Homo Corporatus." You can call me Darth Vader. You can call me a "zook." You can call me anything. Just don't call me late for picking up my paycheck.

the doctor's reply:

You are wrong. You are also a scumbag, but that is beside the point. The Doctor thinks there will always be people out there who will not be willing to trade their individuality for a new and improved VCR, who will not trade their freedom just to have " the trains run on time." One of the best examples of you that Hollywood has ever presented was Paul Reiser's character, Carter Burke, in the movie, "ALIENS." And the thing he was trying to protect eventually ate him. Bon appetit!
