COOL LINKS

This page will be permanently under construction. As I find humorous, classy or otherwise interesting sites, I will link them here. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail them to me. I found that much to my dismay, most of my links were dead and gone. Sites on the Net come and go so fast that it is hard to keep track. I think the links below are all live (as of Jan., 2000). And fairly cool!

The first is DJ Hayes' "The Journal of Archer Ryan." A nice guy who is also a young writer . Ask him about his Farlander saga. I promised him for month's to give him a link here and am finally doing so. I couldn't break my word to him...I used to change his diapers! :-)

COMEDY CENTRAL. This is the TV network, Comedy Central's home on the Net. Normally, I would not provide a link to a comercial site, but, aside from selling their stuff, everything else here is free and very well done. You can play "Win Ben Stein's Cyber Money" (he always beats me by one or two in the final round); you can visit the fine young gentlemen at "South Park" and get your own shot at killing you-know-who. Lots of activities. A fun place to go and have some laughs.

FUNNY, BUT NO... This is HALLMARK card's Shoebox division. They put the jokes that didn't make it to their cards here. They might have been too racy, too far-fetched, or whatever. But some of them are a real scream (example: CONGRATS! You Are 18! Just think...in a few years you'll realize what a stupid little jerk you are right now!) Also, check out their worst pickup lines of all time (Wow! My mom has that exact same outfit!)

MOVIE SITES You can go to Fox, Sony, or The Sci Fi Channel on your own, but if you are a movie fan like I am, the following sites are also a must visit. First and foremost, The Internet Movie Database is the greatest reference library of them all for anything about movies, actors, directors, etc. The next site has great old movie posters from many old SF and horror flicks. A fantastic trip back through time. It s called The Cabinet of Dr. Casey -Horror Movie Poster Achive. Dr. Casey, whoever, he is, has created this site with obvious loving care. He is a fan. The next site is for all of us B movie fans. It is called, appropriately enough, THE ASTOUNDING B MONSTER. It has a little bit of everything for fans of low-budget schlock. Elitists can bite me! Low-budget schlock is just plain fun.

This site in Sweden has an enormous listing of artists from around the world. ELFWOOD contains thumbnailed examples of their artwork, bios, e-mail addresses, etc. Over 300 hundred gallaries. Extremely well done site. Another good site is SF&F Art. This site also has a number of thumbnailed gallaries with works by the masters of SF&F art.
