Comparisons of five sling pockets. The lowest is a once commercially available leather sling. The flat pocket needed use or wet fitting to be made perfect. The flat strap design made it a dream for ease of construction, but annoying in a wind due to it's tendency to wind, and required untwisting after a couple of throws. This was one of the things that lead me in search of a textile sling.
