We purchased a new home in Towaco, NJ, just north of Morristown. I am currently Vice President, Marketing and Business Development for the Smart Card division of MasterCard, where I have been able to combine my interests in technology and business. We are developing new products in the areas of electronic money and e-commerce. I have lost touch with many people post-GL as I spent the first ten years moving between different states (Rhode Island, Dallas, North Carolina, Washington DC, Connecticut) and finally back to NJ. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends at the reunion." Andy Teich (Bay City, MI) writes: Tracy and I will be celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary this summer. We have one son, Jonathan, who is five. I serve as pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Bay City. In addition, I am a member of Rotary and active with the American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts." Andy added, "Due to the nature of my work, the Friday after Thanksgiving in New Jersey will not work. I look forward to checking out the web site and seeing who else is out there. Who would have thought in 1978 that we would be doing reunion by computer?" Scott Tenenbaum (Berkeley Heights, NJ), writes: I'm single with a wonderful almost 9 year old son, Jason. I've been working in the area doing residential construction for myself. I'm sorry to say I missed our our first reunion so I can't wait to see everyone!" She frequently sees other GL graduates in Maplewood, mostly not from our class (Katie Raybol '79, Talia Lipshitz '79, Kevin Roughly '77, Kathy Stratton '75, and Leslie Tarmy '79). She ran into Laura Shaub at Kings -- she's been living in Milburn since '81. I have three other children from my first marriage, Christine 13, Bryant 10, and Billy 7 who live with their mother in Charlotte, North Carolina. Maggie writes: After moving my junior year from Berkeley Heights, I attended the University of Illinois, in Champaign-Urbana, earning a degree in Business. Now, I live in St. Charles, Illinois with my husband of 16 years, David, and three children - two boys and a girl (13, 11, and 9). I have been at home with my children for the last 13 years, but went back to school three years ago and earned my Masters in Teaching. I just started teaching 4th grade in Geneva,IL this Fall and love it. There is nothing like a classroom of 23 kids to keep you alive and on your toes! I am a Sunday School teacher for 5th and 6th grade girls and am active in my church. My hobbies include gardening, walking, camping, reading, golfing and skiing. I guess that is the summary of the last 20 years (boy, that was a humbling experience!) If you end up having another reunion, please let me know, I would love to come.
