Lisa (Fagan) Gaul (Andover, NJ) writes: "I met my husband at Penn State University, and we've been married for 15 years. I worked as a manager at AT&T for seven years before "retiring" to work as a full-time mother of two daughters. I also home school both girls, Alyssa (age 10) and Rachael (age 6) and thoroughly enjoy this rather unconventional lifestyle. I missed the 10 years reunion, and am truly looking forward to seeing everyone! E-mails would be appreciated!" Brian Farrell (Stamford, CT): Brian and his wife, Angela have two sons- Brian and Jack, ages 1 & 2. Brian is Vice President of a reinsurance intermediary in Westport, CT. Mike Federico (Randolph, NJ) Ellen R. Feldman (Evanston, IL) - got married in 1989 to Michael Sittenfeld (she's kept her own surname). She received her Ph.D. in English 1995 from the University of Chicago, and is currently managing editor of Northwestern University Press in Evanston, IL. She writes, "Thanks for putting this information on the Web. It was interesting to learn where people are and what they are doing these days. I hope you have success in finding more of our classmates." Ward P. Feste (Downers Grove, IL) - writes that he has been married to Laura since 1984. They met at Indiana University, and have two children - Sarah (6) and Lars (3). The Festes live in the western suburbs of Chicago. Ward is currently a Principal at Carlyle Group, Ltd. where he's been since 1986 - an Executive Search Firm specializing in the placement of professionals in the Commercial Real Estate and Management Consulting industries. Amy (Flaherty) Hovell (Green Village, NJ) - Amy and her husband, John, have 3 daughters (Julia, Briget, and Jennifer). Joe Fornaro (Watchung, NJ) Carolyn (Fraser) Whelan (Warren Twp., NJ) - writes: "I've been at Lucent (previously ATT Bell Labs) for 15 years doing software development. I'm married almost 10 years, and have 2 wonderful daughters." Enzo Francavilla (Beverly, MA) Daniel Fusco (Piscataway, NJ) Anthony R. Gaito (Washington, NJ) - writes, "First I would like to thank the reunion team. Great Job!!!!!!! Anthony and Sandy Gaito, married February 3, 1990. Sandy is a 1979 Graduate from New Providence. We brought our first child into this world on February 19, 1991. Yes she was planned and her name is Danielle Carmene Gaito. Then our second child was brought into this world on July 31 1992. Yes also planned and his name is Anthony Ross Gaito II. Oh there is another member of the family and she was born January 19, 1989. Her name is Bear Gaito and she was planned also. Bear is our dog her breed is Chow Chow. We now live in Washington NJ (Warren County). I am employed with AT&T (at least for now) supervisor of the AT&T Inhouse Construction Crew. She is employed by Hooper Holmes in Basking Ridge as a Medical Technician. Christopher Garner (Phoenix, AZ) - reporter that he's single- living in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 2 years. He writes, "I have been with Marriott International for 8 1/2 years, currently an Operations Manager for Courtyard by Marriott. After graduating from GL, I moved to Northern California with the family where I lived until transferring to Phoenix. Aside from the heat I enjoy the desert very much." Julie Garton (Hardin, MT) Lauren Beth Gash (Highland Park, IL) writes, "I am serving my third term as a State Representative in the Illinois General Assembly. I chair the Judiciary-Criminal Law Committee. I am married (15 years) to Gregg Garmisa. We live in Highland Park, a suburb of Chicago. We had Sarah, almost 14, and Benjamin, almost 12, when we were both students at Georgetown Law. My parents still live in Berkeley Heights, and we visit often. I attended the 10 year reunion, and look forward to the 20th. Barbara (Giambalvo) Makan (Rahway, NJ) - no e-mail address presently available. Dan Geschwind (Los Angeles area) - has been married for 10 years to Sandy. They have 2 children, Eli (3.5) and Maya (16 months). Dan is an Assistant Professor- UCLA Dept. of Neurology, Director of Neurogenetics. Diane (Gilkey) Wallace (New Canaan, CT) Diane lives in New and her husband Joe have 3 children: Abbey-10, Joe-8, and Erin-6. Ellen Gillich (Somerville, NJ) writes: "I've been with the same company since right after graduation (20 years, I can't believe it!), although my division has been sold/reorganized/etc several times. I'm a computer programmer with ENCO Printing Products, AGFA Div, Bayer Corp (what a mouthful!)in Branchburg, NJ. I was married for 12 years (no kids), and got divorced about 4 years ago. Recently bought a house in Somerville, NJ, which is keeping me busy doing (small) home improvements & gardening. I enjoy golfing, motorcycling (got my own a couple of years ago), shooting pool, & vacationing at the beach. I had intended to make the 10 year reunion, but things didn't work out. After finding this site, I'm really looking forward to the 20th! Of course, now I have to dig up my yearbook, and refresh my memory to put faces with all the names I've read about here." Franca (Gonnella) Carbone (Hunterdon County, NJ) and husband Greg have three sons, Nicholas (9), Vincent (5 1/2), and Joey (20 months). Franca recently left Lucent technologies after 16 years to join Greg in his landscape/construction business. They recently moved from a rather congested Warren, NJ to the country-like Hunterdon County. Now you know we're getting old -- remember when Warren was considered the boonies? Franca has also volunteered to help us organize our reunion. Frank Gonnella (Union, NJ) Mike Greene (Jacksonville, FL) - sends regards to all and writes that he works as a CFO for an engineering company.He's been married to Regina for seven years -- 3 children, Kelsey (deceased), Shannon (6), Patrick (7 months). Mikes claims to make his own beer -- we'll see if he'll brew a batch for the reunion! Donna (Greenwald) DeCarlo (Piscataway, NJ) is married to Mark DeCarlo-- another class of '78 marriage. She writes, "Mark and I have been married for 13 years. We have 3 children, Justin 7, Kyle 5, and Cherylin 4. We have lived in Piscataway for 6 years. Mark is a UPS driver and does electrical work on the side. I am the Office Manager for Watchung Pediatrics." Donna is a member of our class reunion committee. Bob Haines (Port Townsend, WA) has been married for 16 years to Michelle Schmidt of Montgomery AL. They have two children, Andrew, 11, and Kathryn, 10. Bob is a pilot for Northwest Airlines based in Anchorage Alaska flying to the Orient. Tom Hall (Berkeley Heights, NJ) Chris Hannemann (Clinton, NJ) Ginny (Hatton) Cave (Media, PA) Maureen (Hegerty) Humphrey (Berkeley Heights, NJ) Dawn (Helfand) Huebner (Exeter, NH) writes, "I am a Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. from University of Michigan in 1987), working part time in a group practice. I have been married for 12 years to Jim Huebner, and have an almost 7 year old son named Eli. After many years in the Midwest, my family and I returned east in 1995, happening upon Exeter, a quaint New England town. I am actively involved in volunteer work, currently coordinating a grassroots effort to fund and construct a large, creative playscape in town." Janice (Hein) Glasscock (Lewes, DE) Jayne (Hessey) Gastineau (Budd Lake, NJ) writes: "I am Office Administrator for a law firm in Morristown, NJ. I have a daughter, Cheryl Lyn, who is 10 years old. I am happily divorced." Tom Hester (Columbia, NJ) writes: "I have been married to my wife Kathy for 15 blissfull years. No kids but a collection of animals large and small. Enjoy horseback riding and carriage driving. Have been self employed along with my brother in a business that produces custom millwork and fine cabinetry. Looking forward to the reunion!" Lauren (Hills) Beyer contacted us on January 8, 2000. She writes, "Hey I'm out here! I'm just not very technically savvy. I've been married for 18 years, and have three kids. I have been in banking since college and work for Bank of America, in Credit Risk. I'd love to get updates, everyone looks soooo different." Greg Hinchman (Colorado Springs, CO) - writes: "I've been in Colorado since the G.L. days. My wife Pam and I married in '87 and have two daughter's, Julie (8) and Kylie (6). I've been with Lockheed Martin since graduating from CU-Boulder. Looking forward to seeing everyone in November." Debra (Hodshon) Russo (Long Valley, NJ) Jay Hoffman (Plano, TX) Shauna (Hoglund) Hostetler (Wellington, FL) writes: "I have been married to Ron Hostetler for 18 years. During these past 18 years, we have lived in the West Palm Beach area. Florida is one of the last places I would have thought of living when we were all together 20 years ago. We have 4 children, 3 teenage boys, ages 17, 15, and 12, and a new baby girl, age 1 1/2. Our 17-year-old is a senior in high school. As you can imagine, having a high school senior brings back many memories of my own senior year. We are in the middle of college applications and scholarship auditions, etc. He is a music major (piano), so we will be travelling to audition in person this January. As you can see, we have children in every phase of life. We are dealing with diapers, driver's licenses, college applications, dating, high school football, middle school, and all points in between. Having a new baby after so many years has been a wonderful experience for our entire family. Our lives are full and we are blessed in many ways. We do find time to visit the beach nearby and travel often. I look forward to the reunion. Although I only attended GL for the end of my junior year and then my senior year, it was a wonderful time in my life. Randy Huseland (Speculator, NY) writes: "Just thought I'd give a quick update regarding some changes recently in my life. I just left the banking industry (after 11+ years) and have joined the staff of CAMP-of-the-WOODS. COTW is a Christian resort and conference center located in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY. I am the MIS Manager with responsibilities ranging from systems integration to Web Master to Network Manager to office equipment repair. Those who knew me well knew that I spent my High School and College summers working here and before that, vacationed here every summer of my life. I was pleased to see fellow classmate Beth Howard up here on vacation last summer and just noticed Joanne Chatterton on our mailing list." Stephen John Indyk (High Bridge, NJ) - married Felicia Smith in 1984. He is a self employed auto and truck technician. The couple has three beautiful children, Stephen (12), Theresa (7 1/2) and Susannah (2 1/2). According to Steve, "We keep very busy between work and home life. We are enjoying raising our family and keeping in touch with old friends." Mark Ingenito (Lebanon, NJ) Frank Irber (South Plainfiled, NJ) Marc Max Jacoby (Evanston, IL) - is an Associate Professor at the VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. He is also playing vibraphone and piano in Latin Jazz bands. Marc is married with two children. Debbie (Jewell) Blackshear (Jacksonville, FL) writes: "I have been married to my husband, Eddie, for 18 years (!!). We have three beautiful daughters: Marci-11, Jami-8 and Kelli-6. We live in Jacksonville, FL where Eddie works with his brothers in their family business. I have had the privilege of being a stay-at-home Mom. I am active in our church, play competitive tennis, and started a small business out of my home last year. I am really looking forward to the reunion--didn't know we had a 10-year reunion! She's been living in California for 10 years, is married, and has a four year old son named Ryan. Monica (Klepp) Urmston (Clinton, NJ) writes, "I've been married for 16 years (gasp!) and have 2 children (10 and 8). Since having the kids, I've been home, helping my husband with his business when I have a free minute (averaging about 10 per month), and before that I worked in Computer sales." Peter Koppisch (Bedminster, NJ) - Peter Koppisch and Linda Buck re-kindled their friendship at our 10 year reunion and were married in May of 1990. They have two children, Sean (6) and Jacklyn (4.5) They report that they are "doing well and look forward to the reunion." Lillian (Krauth) Perry (Alpharetta, GA) In early October ('98), Lillian checked in while in Phoenix at Lucy (Schwill) Kroemers computer. She wrote, "My, Lucy, you haven't changed a bit in 15 years -- still instigating trouble and coercing people to update biographies. Kidding aside this is what I've been doing. Back to the future, married in 1987 to Ernie Perri in Oyster Bay NY. Moved to Atlanta -- now talk funny y'all - never! Something must be funny in southern water -- have had 3 children in past 4 years with one more on the way due tax day 4/15/99. Sarah 4 years, Christopher 2 years and big baby Ben 1 year! Busy isn't appropriate word. On vacation in Phoenix and have to leave now to go pack for tomorrow's flight back to Atlanta. Go Braves!" Steve Kurtz (Everson, WA) Meg Laudice (Wyncote, PA) Allan Lang (Derry, NH) Dennis Lang (Salem, NH) Jade Lee (New York, NY) writes: After graduating from art school in Philadelphia, I moved to New York and formed a band with other art students. Known as “Book of Love,” we signed a deal with Sire Records and recorded four albums. Throughout the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, we toured the U.S. and Europe. We were the opening band for three of Depeche Mode’s tours. Over the years, we also had several songs make Billboard’s Top Ten dance chart. In 1995, I moved on to a more sedate life, getting married and working as an art director in a Soho design firm. I study Tibetan Buddhism and have met the Dalai Lama. In February, I plan to make a pilgrimage to India. I also enjoy volunteering with the Samaya Foundation (preserving Tibetan culture) and the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (advocating for low income Asian American children in New York). My sister found this site by accident. Thanks for your work in maintaining the site. I was sorry to have missed the reunion, but it was humourous to see some pictures and read about how classmates are doing.
Robert B. Leger (Bridgewater, NJ) writes: "I have been a real estate appraiser for 16 years and started my own firm 3 years ago. I will use any excuse to play golf. And I still enjoy watching Yankee baseball. Oh yeah...I've been married for 15 years to the lovely and talented Kimberly (Roeder) Leger and we have 6 children (8 mo., 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10)." Tim Lewis (Middlesex, NJ) - Tim and Dawn Lewis have been married for 9 years. He writes, "We have 3 children: Danielle age 61/2, Brian age 41/2, and Kevin age 2." Margaret Ann (Liebers) Lovelette (Northbrook, IL) Chris Lubeck (Brandon, FL) - is married to Beth Jenner (GL Class of '79). Their two boys - Tyler 4, Alex 2.5, were joined by baby sister Lauren Alyssa Lubeck in September, 1997. Chris works as Director of Development at Pegasus Imaging Corp.- they develop imaging technology and imaging software applications. He jokes, "I assume that the reunion will be an alcohol free event." Perhaps he's tried Mike Greene's home brew!
