As with any major city, your lodging choices are vast, but due to a convention, your pickins is slim.  The list below is far from exhaustive, so if you don't have any luck, you can always look at the Yahoo! Hotel directories page.  Hotels near or in the French Quarter are usually most convenient, but there are also very nice places in the Garden District or along Esplanade Avenue (east of the Quarter.)
