|
The
Freeplay Kito Flashlight is a simple, rugged, reliable light -
anytime, anywhere. This self-powered flashlight combines the
independence of trusted Freeplay wind-up technology with the reliability
of LED illumination. A quick 60 second wind of the Kito provides an hour
of illumination. The more you wind, the longer it shines. The crank may
be turned in either direction, and the harder you crank the more energy
you create.
It has a non-removeable rechargeable Ni-MH 3.6 volt battery pack, with a 10mm ultra bright white LED. The ergonomic handle is made of tough glass-reinforced nylon, and the gear train is made from glass reinforced nylon and acetyl, dissimilar engineering plastics that dramatically increae the life of the gear train. The gear train has undergone accelerated lifetime testing in excess of 500,000 cycles. Accelerated lifetime testing of the batteries reflect no significant capacity loss even after 10,000 30 second crank charge cycles. Two colors are available, solid yellow and transluscent blue.

Freeplay Sherpa Xray LED
flashlight introduces a new level of dependability to the Sherpa range
of flashlights, incorporating failsafe Freeplay wind up technology
together with the reliability of ultra bright white Light Emitting
Diodes (LEDs), The Sherpa Xray LED provides excellent brightness and
shine time with the peace of mind of never needing to ever replace the
batteries or bulb. The Sherpa Xray LED is a compact, rugged flashlight
ideal for both everyday and emergency use. Designed to be a serious tool, the wind up system offers maximum dependability for those times when you cant afford to be left in the dark by dead batteries. A quick wind (about 30 seconds) gives approximately 20 minutes of ultra bright light, and 20 hours of normal light, using an array of high-efficiency, solid-state, ultra bright white LEDs. Internal mechanical components are specified to industrial standards for repeated use and long life. Jonta - The ultra bright 1 watt white Luxeon LED
used in the Freeplay Jonta is highly efficient and never needs
replacing, delivering long shine times and great dependability. The
Jonta has a battery level indicator, low level battery warning, single
button operation, and LED driver circuitry to insure maximum efficiency
at all power settings. For home usage, an AC adapter (included) may be
used to bring the internal Ni-MH battery to full charge in 12 hours.
The effective beam of the Jonta is over 50 meters, with a signal visibility of 3 kilometers. The user may select either a "energy savng" or "full power" setting, depending on whether maximum shine time or maximum brightness is desired. In energy-saving mode the Jonta will run for 24 hours, and in the full power mode it will run for 2.5 hours. A third choice is a flashing beam that is suitable for emergency signaling. The ergonomically designed handle may be turned in either direction, and the faster it's turned the more energy that's generated. A crank level LED indicates the optimum winding speed.
