Scenes
My most recent flame working efforts have been toward making scenes. These scenes are made up of several (8-20) separate glass sculptures which are connected to a mirror using a UV activated adhesive. I have seen other glass workers place pieces on mirrors, but I have never seen anyone else do a whole scene. Perhaps it is not considered to be proper. Or maybe no one but me likes it. One of the things I like about it is that you cannot view it from one position. You must move around it in order to see it all. That being said, I have several shots of each scene shown.
BusY OCEAN
In this first picture you can see the turtle swimming upwatd from the rock to go over the coral. In the middle and the bottom can be seen the two star fiish and several varieties of plants.
In this second picture, the mommy and baby dolphin can be seen leaping over the coral in perfect sync.
